This Fan Burse is made of Brocade/ Damask Fabric. The AM(Ave Maria) is embroidered directly on the fabric. The burse is lined with sating fabric from inside and extra care is taken to make the Burse look symetric from all sides.

Burse: is a receptacle in which, for reasons of convenience and reverence, the folded altar linens are carried to and from the altar. The burse is ordinarily made of two juxtaposed pieces of cardboard square, bound together at three edges, leaving the fourth open to keep the altar linens.
